Bio: A co-founder of Pig Iron Theatre Company from Washington, D.C., Dito Van Reigersberg has performed in almost all of Pig Iron’s productions since the company’s founding in 1995, including Hell Meets Henry Halfway at Woolly Mammoth and the Ohio Theater (Obie Award);Chekhov Lizardbrain at Under the Radar (Obie Award); Zero Cost House at The Public Theater; Twelfth Night at Abrons Arts Center; and Shut Eye (co-directed by Joseph Chaikin). His alter-ego Martha Graham Cracker is famously “the tallest drag queen in the world.”

Project Description: Ms. Martha Graham Cracker threw her all into a musical fever-dream as she belted out a bevy of original songs. But were we witnessing the swansong of her career? She’d been disappointed by love and that fickle mistress called show biz one too many times, and was determined to protect her delicate heart by barricading herself in the most unlikely of places: the library. Trading glitter and glamour for pensive quiet and study, Martha decided to pursue a graduate degree in library science, but even amongst the stacks there was no escape from love.
